At level 11 of the Beep test, the required speed is 13.5 km/h: 12 shuttles of 5.33 s each. The level lasts 1 min 04 s; when it ends you have covered 2 120 m in 11 min 37 s. Completing it in full credits you with a MAS of 13.5 km/h, roughly 42 ml/min/kg of VO₂max.
At 13.5 km/h level 11 counts 12 shuttles, one more than the previous three: the test gets longer as it gets faster. Few entry-test candidates get here; those who do have prepared.
The previous level, 10, was run at 13 km/h. The next one, 12, moves to 14 km/h. On this test the gap between two levels is small in speed and large in feel, because fatigue carries over from one level to the next.
